Testimonials

Check out these stories from new franchisee owners who worked with Thoughtful Franchise Brokers to find them a good fit.

Kerry Chester

Kerry and her husband Dusty bought a Blue Moon Estate Sales franchise and they are coming up on a full year of being in business. Her background was mental health, she was in the army for six years and most recently was the director of marketing at a restoration franchise. She came to us thinking she wanted something in the food or fitness space but fell in love with Blue Moon Estate Sales once she learned more about it. It’s a franchise she never would have thought she’d buy and has already bought two more territories!

Bart Beauchamp

Bart is a CPA and most recently was the Finance Manager at a large hospital. Bart is familiar with business ownership as he ran his own accounting firm for a few years back in 2008. He went back to Corporate America for 10 years but is ready to run his own business again – this time with the support and help of a franchise system. He chose Five Star Painting and recently completed training. He’s starting to go out on estimates and excited to grow a business that he can ultimately sell when he gets closer to retirement.

Zainab Turay

Zai came to us wanting a brunch franchise and believe it or not, that’s what she ended up purchasing! Typically the businesses people think they want don’t end up aligning with their goals, but in this case it did for Zai. She bought Press Waffle Co and is excited to open her doors later this year in the Atlanta, GA area. What’s also unique about Zai is she is planning to keep her full-time job at Coca-Cola and have her sister run the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.

David Mills

David spent his career in banking and his family has been in the banking industry since 1971. David has been “retired” since he was 45 after they sold the bank and has been looking for a new challenge for awhile. David talks about the detailed criteria he used for choosing what franchise concepts he landed on. Ultimately he ended up buying into two different systems – Spenga and Deka Lash. David also discusses his experience with Thoughtful Franchise Brokers.

Jivesh Toor

Jivesh is originally from Singapore and has been in the Chicago area since 2011. He was here on an E2 Visa with a luxury men’s clothing business that he started from scratch. His E2 Visa was expiring, so he needed to re-apply with a new business. Instead of creating another business of his own, he chose to become a franchisee of Gotcha Covered, a window coverings franchise. Hear about his unique experience of getting his E2 Visa with a franchise.
